Waipū Horse Adventures offers award-winning horse trekking experiences through some of Northland’s most beautiful coastal and rural landscapes. Located just outside Waipū, this unique experience takes riders from native bush trails to the open sands of Uretiti Beach, creating a memorable way to explore the region.

Waipū Horse Adventures offers a range of guided treks tailored to different experience levels and group types.
Bush to Beach Trek
The most popular option, this approximately 90-minute trek takes riders through native bush and out onto the white sands of Uretiti Beach, offering a mix of scenery and a relaxed riding pace.
Premium Trek
Designed for more experienced riders, this trek includes opportunities to trot and canter along the beach while enjoying panoramic coastal views.
Private & Group Treks
Private treks and group bookings are available, making this a great option for families, celebrations or team-building experiences.

Location
Waipū Horse Adventures is located just outside Waipū on State Highway 1, approximately:
- 10 minutes from Waipū
- 30–40 minutes south of Whangārei
- Around 2 hours north of Auckland
The location provides easy access while still offering a peaceful rural setting close to Uretiti Beach and Bream Bay.
